This is exactly how I feel. I love Super Mario, and Mario 64. Donkey Kong Country 1 - 3, and Donkey Kong 64 have seen more play time than any other franchise in gaming from yours truly. The list goes on, and on, but somewhere around 1999 to 2001 Nintendo just fell apart, and I can not get exited about there games anymore. I keep looking for the successor to the two franchises above, but they never live up to those games. Mario Sunshine failed to capture me, Super Mario Galaxy and SMG2 were better, but a far cry from the greatness of M64. DKCR is not feeling so hot so far either.
I think part of the problem with Nintendo for me is the same problem I am beginning to see with Final Fantasy. They established a franchise around principle gameplay, and now they are trying to stray to far away from these concepts, but continue to use these names to drive sales. I just want the next step in the feel of the Mario Universe M64 and before.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
