Lots of ex-Tales Studio people worked on this iirc.   Too bad the localization is PS1-era level, or I might bite.

It's not. PS1 localizations had bad voices, this game doesn't for the most part. Also I heard about Ignition's problems with text (mispellings and missing text and such) and I noticed very few. There's like one or two scenes with one word missing and very few mispellings. Even in Tales of the Abyss I noticed a few mistakes. This is not PS1 era localization.

This is the reason I wrote this review. So people don't have false thoughts about this game when there's not much wrong with it and is a very solid RPG.

Eh, I watched various youtubes... it's not as bad as the worst on PS1 (like say Grandia), but the voice work is awful, and pretty easily among the worst this gen imo.  I really wish Ignition had just gone the Muramasa route and subbed only, or XSEED had won out. :/
