Anyone wondering if Nintendo is considering that for their next system?

I'd personally love for Nintendo to go back to solid state, but it's not happening next gen.  They'll have Panasonic deliver a customized Blu-ray solution, with Wii DVD backward compatibility, and still no movie playback. ;)

Nah.

2.5 times the power of 360/PS3.

Solid state game format.

20GB internal storage.

No backwards compatibility.

No moving parts.

$150 US launch price.

How about:

2 times the power 2 times the efficiency of compute resources.

Solid state game format with 2 slots, one for rewriteable cards for kiosk distribution and one for ROMs.

1GB / 8Gb RAM, 2Gb chips will be cheap by then.

Edit: 16GB flash, it doesn't make sense if its 20 unless they preallocate a larger chip for redundancy or OS functions.

25W TDP.

Vapour chamber cooling for CPU/GPU combo.

$249 US launch price.

Tease.
