Dance Central seemed positioned as the killer app, with a TON of advertising (I've seen more DC ads than all other Kinect games combined), it not being past a million by now is just slightly disappointing imo. It's still doing well, just not as well as I thought it would. Kinect Sports on the other hand is doing quite a bit better than I expected. |
The sports mini-games and such are more familiar to the populous when you talk about motion gaming, when dealing with a type of controller scheme they're not familiar with. I think that the longer Kinect is out, then people will start getting used to the idea of it, just as the Wii's controls, now natural to most of us, has drifted into our hearts over time.
