Yeah I believe Ghost exists, it was a fairly good film. Whoopi Goldberg was ace in it.
As for ghosts, no I do not believe they exist. I think there's always a rational explanation to alleged experiences with ghosts. For example, the human brain is overly cautious, we see faces when there are no faces, we always want to make sense of our environment in such a way that we are always prepared for danger.
An example of this phenomena is when you're lying in bed at night and a light, say from a street lamp outside, lights something up in such a way that it looks a bit human. In your mind you think it could be human, it's easy to interpret it that way, even though you actually know its a coat or something.
I also find it hard to believe that after thousands of years of humans having alleged experiences with ghosts we are no closer to explaining their nature. If people really did have experiences with ghosts we'd know a lot more about their existence.
But their appearances are entirely inconsistent (by now we should be able to predict when they appear), we don't know what they're made of, we have no objective way to test for them, we have no way of falsifying evidence for or against their existence, etc.
If we had really been experiencing ghosts for thousands of years, then we would be much closer to understanding the nature of ghosts.
All this to me suggests that ghosts are a construct of human imagination.
