Wii Fit has absolutely NOTHING in common with Kinect.

Actually, they are both platform extending peripherals.  Their method of input being different aside, they are the same thing categorically.

Seems the only people in denial here are those that think Kinect is something more than a peripheral to an established console platform.

Wii Fit is a GAME.  Kinect is a CONSOLE EXTENSION.

Wii Fit (Balance Board) is more like Guitar Hero (Guitar) or Tony Hawk Ride (Skateboard).  Kinect is more like Sega CD or 32X.

No.  They are not the same thing.  The more people promote this, the more the mods are going to take notice and it'll hopefully get added to 'the list'.

Wii Fit is not the only title supported by the Wii Balance Board so your agurment is invalid.  I already stated there are over 40 titles with Wii Balance Board support.

The mods will not take notice to something that infactual.  It will not be added to the list of actual consoles.

Do you see the Guitar Hero guitars, Tony Hawk Skateboard, Move, Wii Balance Board, 32X or Sega CD on this list anywhere?   Then don't get your hopes up for Kinect appearing anytime soon.

Again, you completely miss the point.

People didn't by the Balance Board because of the wonderful ways it would extend the Wii.  Nor did they buy a Guitar Hero Guitar for all of the wonderful game experiences it would open up for the 360 or PS3.  They bought it for A SPECIFIC GAME.  Sure, other games may support the peripheral, but its intention is for THAT game.

Kinect, like the 32X and Sega CD attempted (much less successfully, of course), isn't about people wanting to play Kinect Adventures.  Its about them wanting to play Kinect games.  Just like the Sega CD and 32X weren't about any game in particular but the potential of the add-on.

Why is this so hard for people to see?  Are you all really so caught up with demeaning Kinect that a simple, rational concept like this would come off as support for Kinect or something???  Some of you really confound me ...
