If you've already downloaded a game, Nintendo won't let anyone gift you that same game.  So you're safe!

And hopefully you'd update your games list, so they'd know you already have it anyhow. Providing they check that. It seems some are resolute to sending specific things despite what their Tim thinks, but that can be a good way to learn about new games too.

ive updated my list, and i just sent my gifts out.  I hope he likes the games i picked!
