The one behind your ear sounds as if it may be a cyst with tallow in it, I used to have those. Had them removed, a simple process. The lumps in themselves are harmless (if that is what it is, hard to say based on the description). Does it feel hard to the touch or does it deform when you pinch/poke it?
PS: Go see a doctor in any case, just to be sure.
