I just don't see how or why people want to support Kinect, at least not with its current games. I mean honestly, look at those games! Are people serious?

The main thing that irks me is Wii recieved all this undeserving criticising and hate (and still does for many people) despite building up a very respectable library, yet Kinect seems to actually DESERVE much of that same criticism yet does not recieve it from these people. The hypocracy just astounds me.

Wii gets titles like Mario Galaxy, NSMB, Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart, SSBB, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Little King's Story, Zelda, Kirby, Goldeneye, Monster Hunter Tri, etc, and STILL gets unfair hate from people. Yet Kinect comes out with Your Shape, Joy Ride, and Kinectimals and gets a free pass from people, getting praised as the best thing since sliced bread. I just don't understand it.. I realize much of the praise is most likely from viral marketers trying to influence opinion, but it still gets to me.

That's because Kinect isn't a console, it's an add on made to appeal to casual players. The Wii sacraficed things the hardcore valued such as HD/good graphics, buttons, and accurate controls. If 360 owners don't want casual gaming they can continue playing the stuff they've loved for the past 5 years, and with 360 looking to have it's best lineup ever next year, Kinect support shouldn't bother anyone if the good games are still rolling in.

I guess, but the Wii has plenty of great core games as well.. And the Wiimote is still a relatively normal controller, with buttons.

and really, I don't see that many more good core games rolling in for 360 next year. I see Gears 3 and Elder Scrolls V, and that's about it. Hopefully they announce some more soon.

Different tastes I suppose. Here are some games that I bet will score pretty well (over an 85) coming to 360 next year

Dead Space 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Bulletstorm, Cyrsis 2, Dragon Age 2, Gears 3, Elder Scrolls 5, Mass Effect 3, Batman AC, Rage, Call of Duty, Forza 4. Not that I want all of those and I'm sure I left plenty out, but the lineup is really solid to the point where the hardcore 360 fan should be happy despite Kinect being around.
