.) What's Kinect Sports? Oh wait, it's a game. An unbundled game. It isn't hardware, it's a piece of software, and the fact that you can't accept this is laughable. 2.) Your point on how old Halo is is completely irrelevant. We are talking about sales right now, not sales 12 weeks ago. And the fact is that Kinect Sports is outselling Halo. I realize how hard it must be for you to comprehend how Kinect Sports can outsell Halo, but it has. 3.) Your point on games selling hardware is hilarious considering you ignore that Kinect Sports is a piece of software. 4.) I'm done debating you. You ignore every fact presented to you because you can't grasp how Kinect could possibly be successful and instead babble some nonsense about the site being full of viral marketers. It's pretty obvious at this point that you hate Kinect and will never be able to analyze it objectively, so I'm done wasting my time by taking anything you say on Kinect seriously. |
.) Right.. I realize it's an unbundled game. Did I say it wasn't?
.) You're right. We are talking about sales right now. And right now, Halo Reach has sold over 5 million. Kinect Sports has sold 775,000. Which do you thnk is more effective at moving hardware?
.) Again, how did I ignore that it was software?
.) Yes, I admit it. I truly CANNOT grasp how Kinect could be successful. I mean look at its games. Really, look at them. I cannot fathom how anyone can possibly support those games (especially these supposed hardcore gamers), yet many of these same people turn around and unfairly bash the Wii, which has titles like Mario Galaxy, NSMB, SSBB, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Zelda, Donkey Kong country, etc.. Just because I am biased doesn't make my arguments invalid.
But as I expected, the Kinect GAMES are not really selling, only the hardware, from the sheer noevelty. But eventually this will change, and the hardware sales will be brought down to the level of the software sales, unless some killer aps are released for it. It is ALWAYS games that moves hardware. Always.
