Ok, here is something to ponder. People have said stuff like Move and Kinect wouldn't be as big of a deal, because ACCESSORIES salewsie usually don't hold up compared to the sale of a console, if it is an addon that comes later. This means accessory sales are weaker. Well, I would then take it, if Kinect is outdoing console launches, that is something one that needs to make note of. Has any accessory that didn't launch with a console do sales numbers comparible to what Kinect is doing now? I would say that maybe Move comes close. But, what else comes close?
I also would count Kinect as something between a new console and an accessory in nature, because what it does is fundamentally different that what the 360 was doing prior.
