Nintendo does advertise 3rd party titles as well...just not as much. Largely because 3rd parties don't put up their big titles on Wii. When they do, Nintendo supposrts them. See Capcom with Monster Hunter 3. Or Square Enix with Dragon Quest IX (DS title but point remains).
