I personally don't mind the re-releases, either (duh!).  And for me, this is going to be video games 101 for my daughter.  She can beat some games (mostly racers and some platformers and stuff) but there has yet to be a Mario game that she could get into.  Sunshine, Galaxy, NSMBWii, etc. were all released after she was born.  She likes Yoshi's Island (GBA) and Super Mario World (VC/GBA) and Mario 64 (DS) but those games are already pretty complicated since they were evolutions of the original formula.  This weekend, we're going to break out this disc and have a blast!!  The Nes version of Mario had graphics that were too dated for her.  16-Bit still has graphical appeal.

So, a big THANK YOU from me to Nintendo for releasing the Snes version of these timeless classics. Class is now in session.
