I've been calling the alarm of Square for years. Even Square and Enix having been giving the consumers alarm bells, but non of it's fans ever listen. This is just another sign of their impeding implosion.  Though I doubt this is it or it will be soon.

Making cinematic experiences on the level of FF series these days are some of the most expensive development costs. Then to share the same costs among numerous projects because insanely expensive. That's why Sqr and Enx joined. To handle the costs and development. That still wasn't enough. So they bought out companies that made quicker to develop action games(much to the RPG puns of the consumers).

Watch the signs. Good games do not equal a healthy company. When you reach the peak of a mountain their is only one direction to go and SE isn't looking to aim at plateau's.

Just watch I give it a few years before SE starts a really bad downward spiral unless something big and smart changes in their management.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
