3) We'd also like links to these stores if they have an online presence.

Most of the times the Sony games and consoles that they sell are imported from USA retailers. Actually in these sites your buy a Playstation cheaper than at official Sony's site. Nintendo consoles are officially imported thought Latamel. However, Microsoft imports its own consoles and games to the retailers.

Just a info for this part... all consoles and games from Sony selling in these sites not are imported... they are manufactued or distributed by Sony Brazil.

Except (there are exceptions) the games or consoles with the word "Importado"... so one exemple:

Final Fantasy XIII Imported: http://www.submarino.com.br/produto/12/21783902/game final fantasy xiii - ps3

Gran Turismo 5 (not imported): http://www.submarino.com.br/produto/12/22239474/gran turismo 5 - ps3 - sony

So the imported one count to US (or EU) but the not imported count to BR.

Excuse me, but I know that Mega Imports Comercio Importacao Representacao Ltda was one responsible for importing the PS3 here. There are even people complaining about its 3 months warranty (text in Portuguese). However, since Sony released the console officially in the country probably the sites to adopt the official version with 1 year of Sony's warranty.

And what I said wrong? The imported are imported... the manufactued or distributed by Sony Brazil not... I have no idea why Americanas doesn't informe if console/game are imported or not (the others sites put the info on the title).

Eg. the PS3 120GB on Americanas is Imported... and the PS3 160GB not... and the imported one is more expensive than official here (I'm not talking about the black market).
