Would help if we knew what sort of stuff he's into. For instance, my nephew likes Star Wars, so he plays Force Unleashed. The obvious ones are the Lego games and Banjo Kazooie. If you don't want to coddle him then some less obvious games could be:
- Prince of Persia
- Mirrors Edge
- Portal (it's on X-box Live right?)
- Tom Clancy's HAWX 1 & 2
- F1 2010 (has a very easy mode with braking assist)
- Final Fantasy XIII
