I was reading the thread the whole time. First guy was baiting a little but not enough to moderate and then the only thing I might moderate is people using the oppurtunity to take swipes at GT5 but that died down so I decided to leave it be.
If you really thought something was wrong then report it, don't expect a couple of volunteers to read every single thread just trying to make sure people are acting like adults. It's an irrational expectation to think we'd be able to find all the instances of what you would call trolling. And btw, how lazy do you have to be to not report something and instead whine that no mod randomly came upon the thing you're too lazy to report?

Your forum moderators. Heaven forbid someone expect you to, you know, do your job right? How dare I have high expectations of moderators to actually moderate a forum. Shame on me!

we have the report button right there, you are told that if you see something you feel is against the rules to report it. Do you really feel it's reasonable for an unpaid volunteer to just be sifting through forums to try and find people breaking rules?
Moderating isn't the act of sifting through forums to try and find problems as you imply, it's dealing with problems that arise. I will never tell moderators to do what you think they should so you can either start using the report button or just deal with the idea that since you refuse the system we have in place for moderating moderators may not happen upon every bit of trolling you see.
How can you seriously tell me it's better for moderators to work through the entire forums than for you to press the report button? You don't even have to explain the issue just press report and the moderator that comes to it will figure it out.
