Just goes to show how quality blind we American's are. The rest of the world realises how amazing the PS3 is but Americans typically cant get past the word Halo in the dictionary, and when we do we generally get stuck at the phrase "PEW PEW PEW" which instinctivly makes us backstep back to the H's and begin talking wth Z's instead of S's on forums.
Oh America, how silly!

Implying people are dumb because they don't have the same tastes as you is rather silly, don't you think?
OT: Kinect over 3 million now. Look for it to keep on trucking and have a massive December.

Actually, I think I know where he's coming from. In general it seems American as a culture are more prone to falling into hype while more than other cultures having a desire to satisfy instant gratification. I'm not saying all American's are like this. I'm just saying the American culture is sadly being push more and more towards this trend.

American's are all about hype. And that's why PS3 was a runaway success from the moment it launched. And why the Wii failed miserably, under a mountain of ridicule.
Or wait, did Americans try things at their friend's houses and then decide to buy based on what they like? I think we all know where he's coming from. The land of fanboys, and it's why he's banned.

Didn't notice that dude got banned, and I don't want to be defending any ill intentions so no harm coming from here. And I'm sure some people go to a friend's house to try something and like it. Sometimes the experience can be thorough and sincere, but sometimes that's part of the hype as well. Just saying. But I don't recall the PS3 being a runaway success when first launch. In fact, there were the intial stortage. But shortly afterwards, they were easy to find because to the incredible steep price.

The PS3 wasn't a runaway success, infact it was very nearly a disaster, despite being the most hyped of the 3 consoles. That's the point.

PS3 was hyped, but a $600 console will turn most anyone away to a $250 console instead. And personally, do believe that the Wii was more hyped than the PS3. We just have to agree to disagree.
