The Aussie/NZ PS3 VS X360 is certainly interesting.

Sony actually does a pretty good job of marketing here actually (though Nintendo does it far better).

The PS3 could very well beat the X360 or the X360 will continue to lead. Who knows but it's very possible either way.

Well I guess PS3 is still selling for a considerably higher price than 360 in both Aussie and NZ. There's a lot of room for movement with PS3, so it would be interesting to see how 360 and PS3 sell if/when the 160Gig PS3 = 250Gig 360 in price. Here in NZ there's still over $100 difference. Arcade Kinect bundle is cheaper than PS3 160 Gig. But I have a feeling PS3 will be more expensive than 250Gig 360 for quite some time yet.

I'm thinking next holidays Sony will do some Bravia TV plus PS3 deals. I wanna upgrade my TV, and get a 2nd blu-ray player. So a 46"Bravia plus PS3 bundle would do quite nicely about this time next year. If only I lived in the USA that Best Buy Bravia plus (gt5 skinned) PS3 plus GT5 deal is amazing.

For us, the difference between the PS3 160G and X360 250G Price difference was $100 but now it's down to $50 difference and these days there are a lot of bundles from various retailers (holidays or not) that give you games and HDMI cable and sometimes ever Blu Ray Movies for $499 and the X360 has bundles as well priced at $450 I think.

The price has definitely come down for the PS3 in Australia.

In fact the cheapest PS3 Console you can buy these days is $436. The lowest price ever for the PS3 here in Aus.
