Nothing will have NSMB-like sale, at least not for a long time. I still expect very strong sales for both these games, particularly DKC. Europe is fast becoming like Japan lately where a few highly regarded franchises perform very well there and 95% of other franchises bomb big time (a bad sign for the industry as a whole). It is not a clear representation of the overall picture.
In the US Mickey is a far more popular icon and should sell far better there, so best to wait for those numbers before jumping the gun there. It will reach at the very least a million WW, which is probably more than enough to make Warren Spector and Disney happy. Although I believe it'll sell 2-3 million.
DKC I believe will also perform far better in the US and I think should have great legs. I still predict sales of over 10 million for that game.
