Damn, never underestimate the power of Monster Hunter in Japan I guess.. I can't believe the strength of the PSP in Japan comapred to the other markets. I guess that's the effect of having Monster Hunter on your platform, and the usual strength of handhelds over consoles as of late over there..
Wii doing respectable numbers, and still no DKC. While I don't think the game will have as big an impact on sales as in the West, it should still help boost more consoles along with the usual holiday boost. Good to see Kirby hanging around on the charts.
Wii should continue to further separate itself from the PS3 through the holidays, until next year when the two consoles should remain at a stalemate, most weeks, with probably a slight edge to PS3. Though Last Story and DQX should give the Wii major boosts. I still find it odd that the Wii's weakest territory is Japan while its strongest is the US. Back before it was released I thought it would be the opposite.
