Excuse my ignorance, but I don't even know where to start with this wikileaks chaos ... could someone sum it up for my briefly?

Guy got ahold of a lot of secret US documents and leaked a lot of stuff that needed to be leaked.

He also leaked a lot of stuff that didn't need to be leaked and basically were the equivlent of benign inter office emails where you talk shit about coworkers.

He's also been accused of rape, and people are calling conspiracy theory without the least bit of proof and pretending he's just being accused of not using a condom for sex when one of the charges states

"Assange is accused of using his body weight to hold her down in a sexual manner."

He's complaining it's all a political ploy to entrap him, even though the endgame of this only benefits wikileaks no matter the outcome.

Assange is a political prisoner and  he is a victim of corrupt government officials making up false allegations against him. Making up sexual misconduct allegations against him is the oldest trick in the book. Too bad there is no evidence/proof to make the charges stick. The case sounds like a witch hunt.

You're just numonex under an alt aren't you?

I mean, your claiming a conspiracy theory without any actual proof...

and also claiming the case has no merit... when you don't have any access to what proof the case may or may not have.

Do you have any proof/evidence to back up your claims?

Let's look at all the evidence and facts before we jump to any conclusions. The man deserves to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Most sexual assault cases get thrown out or never proven in a court of law.

It was consent and it some how turned into non consent. I am confused: it is either rape or it is not rape.

Sound like a very convenient case for the government officials to use against a political opponent.

Go ahead and jump on the political media witch hunt band wagon and condemn a man who may well be proven innocent of all charges.
