This is essentially what I've been thinking.
This is also the reason why SCE shouldn't bother even considering pricing the PSP2 a penny more than the iPod Touch. If they want, they can even go iPod with the options and offer multiple NAND storage SKU pricing.
Frankly, if we start seeing more games of this caliber on iOS, I'm not sure I even see the point of dedicated handheld consoles barring "must play" platform exclusives. 3D screens and buttons? Great. But it would still boil down to the games themselves to sell the hardware.
