It would need SEGA's permission, but considering how Nintendo and SEGA are in business bed together, it shouldn't be too hard to organise. Monolith recently worked on a Super Robot Wars game despite no longer being part of Namco anymore.
Now that Layton x PW has been announced, maybe I should hope for Fire Emblem vs Shining Force.
