I just ordered the game earlier today...although I'm still a little sore from playing Gladiator Duel for too long yesterday lol
I emailed the IGN editorial team asking why Lambrechts hasn't adjusted his review score after realising that he was incorrectly calibrating the controls every time he was trying to block but it doesn't look like I'm getting a reply. I've also asked him the question on his blog but it wouldn't surprise me if he deletes my blog comment lol.
It's a real shame that the poor and inaccurate reviews appear to have affected the sales of the game so far, I don't think I've seen such a discrepancy between professional reviews and user reviews and feedback for a game before now. :(
