On most occassions, once you leave a non-hub area, you can't go back. Kinda lame...

I assumed i had the chance to go back everywhere once i was far enough in, kinda like in Other M or something, that they were just shutting the way behind me for now so i could keep moving in the right direction but would eventually open it all up. I didn't know these areas became utterly inaccessible
