Love love love this game so far. DKC is back baby! Controls are really solid, even better than NSMB where the contorls feel a bit sluggish. Multiplayer is a blast, and your friends don't get in your way since you can't knock eachother off cliffs like NSMB.
Graphics are slick, that sunset level in particular was real neat, reminded me of Limbo mixed with Braid. Like how they do remixes of many of the old track with their new music, as the music from the original series was so great. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
I'm currently at world 5. Man some of those minecart levels kicked my ass, parciularly the one where you had to jump from the grassy patches to the carts, just seemed to baffle me for some reason. Ended up burning through like 15 lives on that one level. Most of the game has been smooth sailing for me though, nice balance of difficulty. Haven't the slightest clue where some of those missing puzzle pieces are at though, guess I'll go back after I've beaten the game and seek those out. Such a fun game, may be the best on the Wii, at least up there with NSMB, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Little King's Story.
