That is not what my comparison is. Demon's Souls was a game that I initially made the mistake of writing off, only to later play it and absolutely love it.
I feel like Nier may end up being the same experience for me in that regard.
Many Demon's Souls lovers got in due to the game's awesome word of mouth.
