I've never had a problem with gfwl (my first experience was with warhammer) . In fact I like how it links my gmertags. I use it along side steam and will probably continue to support them both as I would hate for either to get a monopoly on digital game distribution and steam looks to be headed that way. I wouldn't say its on its deathbed either. To me it looks like they are gearing up for a comeback. Especially with the deals they are doing, I am sure they are just trying to get gfwl on more machines right now, and than maybe relaunch it so it can better compete with steam.
