Finally this amazing achievement gets some attention.
I think MKWii is the second most sold stand alone game after pokémon RGB. Wii play doesn't count as most of it's sales come from the wiimote bundle.
Mario Kart Wii defenitely deserves it, this game is amazing. It's by far my most played game this generation. And online it's really tough. I have one star and my max. points were 8300. The 9999 guys are extremely hard to beat. So if you are an expert you really don't need luck to win.
anywho back on the numbers I expect it to sell 30 million by the end of next year.By january 2012 this will be the best selling standalone game of all time. Amazing.
edit: where would WiiFit be if WiiFitPlus didn't exist? I think it would already have surpassed 30 million by now.
Wii Sports Resort is doing great too...
Man on the software side this generation Nintendo owns everyone and everything 10 times over.
I can see 3DS Pulling of similar numbers though.
