I'm sure overall Halo 3 is discounted in price in comparison to Halo ODST. Either way Halo 3 is a main entry into the series, ODST is not. People probably figure to grab Halo 3 first before jumping into ODST and Reach.
Anyways the Alan Wake numbers are more depressing.
It's just that simple.
