Time attack is what is really really hard.
I am at level 6 and though I´ve lost tons of lives, haven't seen the gameover screen yet and I doubt I´ll see it. You are gaining enough lives all the time.
I don't really see what's the problem about loosing many lives, anyway. In my opinion, that is a good indicator of this game. It is hard yet very addictive and I have lots of fun every time I manage to make some time to play it.
Those who always felt that gaming was all about having fun beating a challenge should really be glad that Nintendo and Retro Studio are giving us this opportunity.
What I would really would like to know is how are people new to the series doing.
