What do you mean everytime? Saying "all games push HW" ... you only have to say it once to mean it .. unless you don't mean it anymore.

As entertaining as this back and forth is, could you answer my question on why GT5 can't hit a million second week when GT4 did it and GT5 has the holiday at its back?

Sure.

Different buying trends, different console, different users, past trends THIS gen (not last gen), fact it had 4 days this week rather than the 2 it would normaly have had. We'll just see aye.

More like :

The reviews are lower.

The competition is higher.

The long wait did some damage.

But your points are good too though.

GT4 has an 89 meta.  GT5 has 85 with scores still coming in.  Hardly a gap, not to mention that people largely don't give a crap about reviews.  The long wait only did damage for critics, a.k.a. the irrelevant people.  The only decent point is the competition, and the Wii seems to be handling it's competition pretty well.

I think, once again, we should wait and see instead of making impulsive claims and past trends.

look at just dance 1 numbers

Yeah, but what opponent did just dance have?Exactly, none. When people look at GT5's score, they will see that NFS:HP and Forza 3 have higher reviews, and what will they do,in the most probable case?Choose them over GT5.

That may not make a big difference, but it still has a small impact.

See, that's an internet mindset.  To a lot of the people going out to get GT5 (a bit of a different base than GT5), they couldn't care less.  NFS doesn't have the pedigree of GT.  The name triggers an instant "Must get" in people over the others, kind of like COD.

There will be a small, incalculable impact, but I don't think it's frankly worth even discussing.
