The 360 and PS3 are not going to impact the sales of the Wii much. Conversely, the Wii is not likely to impact the 360 and PS3. Nintendo created a market for themselves and is off in new territory. There styles of games that cannot transition well between the Wii and the 360/PS3 consoles.
In short, the Wii will not decline, but it doesn't mean that Sony and Microsoft will go out of their way to compete with the Wii directly in it's new Kingdom.
The Wii should have been left out of this discussion from the beginning. Not because it is going to start diving or anything like that, but because it isn't in as direct competition as the 360 and PS3 are.
Thank god for the disable signatures option.
