Ah wow I don't post on this site much anymore after the redesign which I find terrible but this is a topic I am very interested in.

I am a major Eminem fan. I listen to his stuff from before he was signed up until the songs he released a couple weeks ago. The thing about Eminem is that is goes through stages, styles and moods and he really covers a lot. When he was real young he rapped about being poor, daily hustle, being unsigned. Then he went into Slim Shady mode and rapped about not giving a fuck, kim, rebel, etc. After that he started doing the more emotional songs that pull you in and hit you at heart. Drug problems, serial killer, and everything in between.

It has nothing to do with being the best, it has everything to do with being the greatest. What defines that is having the complete package. The struggle, controversey, talent, sales, relevancy, dedication and legacy. Eminem really is the only rap artist that fulfills that right now. You can list all the underground artists you want. You can talk about better lyracist or whatever but none of them have the complete package that Em does, that is what makes him special.

"Em is nasty man, I tell people to this day...if Em was black...he’d be the next Muhammad Ali.” -  Rakim

“Air Jordan. Tiger Woods. You know how a person is made for something? Eminem is made for hip-hop. The best rapper is a white man.”- 50 cent

"Toronto I want you to make some motherfucking noise for the Greatest of all time,Eminem"- Drake

"Nobody's gonna be bigger than Eminem"- Kanye West

"Eminem is the Greatest ever"- Akon

“Technically,Eminem is the most skilled rapper I’ve ever heard”  - DJ Khalil

"From the start, I’ve always admired Eminem’s thinking. That’s the reason I wanted to appear on the Grammys with him when I was asked. Eminem has the balls to say what he feels and to make offensive things funny. That’s very necessary today in America, with people being muzzled and irony becoming a lost art. Artists like Eminem who use their free speech to get a point across are vitally important. There just aren’t many people in the world with balls that big and talent that awesome." - Elton John

"You notice out of everyone I’ve ever talked about I NEVER fucked with Em’ and I NEVER will. When he’s pissed off, he ain’t gonna punch you in the mouth and he probably can’t beat you up, but he’s gonna fuck you up. You don’t fuck with that crazy white boy." - The Game

"I started off thinking Eminem was a flash in the pan, a kind of hip-hop Hanson brother. How wrong I was. Recovery is sometimes funny, sometimes terrible, always painfully honest. The matching of Eminem and Rihanna on “Love the Way You Lie” is pure genius. “Not Afraid” is pretty great too."  - Stephen King

"You know the world is messed up when the tallest man in the NBA is chinese, the best golfer is black, and the best rapper is white." - Chris Rock
