So over-tracked by a fair bit then in the preview for GT5 and PS3 then. No bigie.
GT4 did 673k in first week so that is down by 243k which is 36%.
Interestingly GT4 did 831k of its total 1m sales in 2 weeks. So history shows for Japan at least 80% of GT4's sales were very front loaded. Basing it on that i think you have to say it looks unlikely it will hit 1m in Japan.
But personally i still think they are good sales. Times have changed. For any game in Japan to get a 200k week is impressive let alone a 400k week.
