will sell more in week2......

Yes all games sell better in there 2nd week.....

This only counts a single day of sales. This isn't some hardcore game that drops hard immediately. This is Mickey Mouse, and plus Christmas is coming anyway.

But with poor sales before christmas you think disney will market it for christmas?

They won't market this game at a time when people buy games the most because of one day of sales? wat. Especially for a game that'll be based around legs like this.

This game was released on the 25th so that's not based on one day since this artcle was posted 4 days afterwards.

And by the time christmas is around it will be out 3 and a half weeks and with sales like this I don't think it will get a push in the uk.

In america that a diffrent subject. We have yet to see the numbers so I can't judge. But other high profile games on the wii like kirby and other M have failed to reach great sales numbers and have legs and those are nintendo first party francise that usally sell better.

If Mickey has high numbers and legs I belive we will see advertiment though the holidays. But if it doesn't why would disney adveritse it than?

The game was released on the 26th in EU (25 in AU). The second to last PAL charts came out on the 20th. A week is 7 days, and the latest charts came out on the 27th. You do the math. One day of sales counted. This news story is just behind.

Anyway they're not going to start advertising it right at Christmas time, they're going to do it obviously. The game's 4 days out in EU (and UK specifically which this article is talking about) and you're already writing it off based on one day of sales? Really?

I could've sworn the point of advertising was to raise awareness as it's released. No advertising = no awareness. And this isn't some throwaway game. And no, what Nintendo games have done have no bearing on this game. I don't remember third parties basing their ads based on what Nintendo games sell, especially not for this game.

What I meant that big wii games this year haven't really done that well in sales so the same could happen to mickey.

and when did I write this game off? If anything I just predicted.

I don't see why that would matter to Disney...especially since Epic Mickey is nothing like Kirby or Metroid anyway. That's like saying, since Kirby and Metroid didn't do that well, why would Nintendo bother advertising DKCR for example. Doesn't make sense.

Also I'm not talking about you really, just in general.

They are alike. They all big exclusive for the wii this year with a lot of hype and won alot of awards from E3.And when did I say just because those titles didn't sell well that Mickey or DKC coulden't sell much better.I said it could happen but just because it could doesn't mean they can try. When did I say that all wii exclusives will sell bad this year?I am just a bit worried because the past big games on the wii this year haven't sold well.If they do great I am happy for them.

What about Wii Party and Mario Galaxy 2? They're approaching 3 and 5 million sales respectively this year and have not had a Christmas boost yet...

The other games have had feeble marketing pushes (at least in the UK)

Yeah mario I would count but that's amrio hen wasen't a mario game sold well.Wii party I don't know if it's big cuss I haven't since commerical for it and I don't think it as hype as mario or DKCR.
