I think it should be more than 3m sold... because Pachter estimate 2.5m sold so over 3.0m is the real number.
Near 1.0m on shelves sounds reasonable (again... the sold out status in some store show that may have less).
Now the ratio 1.4-1.6 said by ioi result 2.0-2.2m user base.
