After playing DKC Returns, I can safely say it deserves to be number 1, flipped with Galaxy. Simply the most fun I've had with a console game for a long time, and I haven't even played the multi yet! It just feels like genuine DKC, which is obviously a plus.
Galaxy 2 is great but has virtually no replay value when you've beaten it. DKC I can see playing over and over for years, especially the multiplayer.
