I don't know what the connection is.  I think MS created the name for their studio to coincide with a plot piece in the games.  Guilty spark.  I can't believe I didn't see it sooner, I feel like such a n00b haha.  I was sitting here going "that sounds so familiar, why did they pick that..?"  Then it came to me, epic fail.

Oh . . . wow. If it is guilty spark, then I attributed way nobler reasons then they actually had.
