BTW, I had 5 mins playtime earlier with the tablet.
The tablet is pretty much mirroring the TV screen. So, if you point the pen at top right corner, it's like you're pointing the wiimote at the topright corner. I started to use it as if a mouse at first and was confuse why my cursor isn't sliding off the middle area.
On the pen is a long button, pressing near the tip is like press A which equals drawing. Pressing on the other end is like pressing B which brings up the tools menu.
There are multiple zoom level, didn't count but I think it's about /- 4 from the default. I didn't figure out how to pan the zoomed screen yet.
There are a ton of tools and options. It's say, it's half way there from the PC professional paint app. It focus more on painting part than image manipulation. Which, I think it's good, since too much tools will end up distracting it from doing what it's supposed to do.
The pen is about 2x thickness of your regular ballpoint pen. Quite big, i'd say. Maybe they intent it to be held like a brush rather than a pen?
The tablet feels sturdy so it won't break when kids use them, hopefully.
You don't even need the pen's tip to touch the tablet to write. It worked with it lifted it about half an inch.
