But 60 years from now, we're going to be playing games in a radically different way then we do now, so playing Ocarina of Time will probably feel incredibly old school. I can't even think of anything to compare it with, that's how old school it's going to be.

There might be people who want to play it old school, or others who want to bring it up to standards, but I don't think we will see any huge uptake on it.

People still play this game called "chess." Not only do they play it, but they don't even play it on "retro game night." Same goes for some game called "poker."

People have been playing essentially the same Pokemon game for 14 years. Nintendo basically invented the platformer genre with Donkey Kong and have been milking it for 29 years.

And how exactly have card games and board games evolved?

PCs and consoles have evolved quite a bit over the last 20 years, and I very much doubt we'll be playing videogames in 2070 that are controlled largely the same way they were on the N64. The change is already happening with Kinect being the most radical departure from traditional gaming equipment since Nintendo started the motion control wars, which I think will only escalate how every company tries to bring new ways of interacting with their games.

In 60 years, the traditional controller that we know now, will have been replaced and our interactions with games will be much more sophisticated. OoT will be so very, very dated then.
