I think that by the time videogames start entering public domain, those same videogames will be hopelessly aged. It's not like music, because the only thing that has really changed there is how it is recorded and sold. Many instruments are the same as they were 100 years ago, and the new ones that have come still fit in well with the old ones.
But 60 years from now, we're going to be playing games in a radically different way then we do now, so playing Ocarina of Time will probably feel incredibly old school. I can't even think of anything to compare it with, that's how old school it's going to be.
There might be people who want to play it old school, or others who want to bring it up to standards, but I don't think we will see any huge uptake on it.
