I do agree that the game doesn't deserve a 10.
My expectations for that game weren't as high as some here who were over hyped and thought it was going to be the second (or is it third?) coming of the Christ. I expected a very polished GT game, new features and plenty of content, as well as that "feel" unique to that series. The game delivered plenty of that, looks awesome to my eyes, controls are flawless, physics are great...
I give it a 9.5. The .5 that I take off is due to some technical issues the game have. Some jagged shadow, screen-tearing and some frame rate drops here and there. None of which are big enough in my eye to justify a score lower than 9.5.
The game does provide me with exactly what I was looking for. So I certainly ain't disappointed.
