Kowen is it affecting your Offline Racing as well? Kaz said because GT5 has both it's online and offline components combined, this current issue is affecting offline racing as well.

it is... you essentially have to disconnect from psn otherwise it constantly tries to grab online data and thus fucks up the PS3, freezing it. its a power off and on situation.

Well that's balls...
Looks like I'll get it on Sunday or Monday until that patch is released. Ain't getting it yet if I can't play both offline or online and I like to stay logged into PSN all the time.

I actually haven't had such a problem. I'm currently on the Offline and haven't had a single issue, and I have been on all day. I haven't tried the online yet, but the Offline seems to be fine, and I'm connected to the internet.

Really? While it's little more assuring now that someone isn't having problems but the only thing is that Kaz said it himself along with Sony so there are chances that right now it could very well affect me as well.
But no need to worry, I'll have the weekend to complete Brotherhood anyway so Monday buy won't be an issue for me.
