To be fair, the Sony claim was backed up with shipped numbers where as no numbers are reported here. Furthermore, we know the PS3 has been outselling the 360 in Europe since the Move launch from Nintendo's tracking firm as mentioned by Acevil on the first page. However, Greenberg may be talking US and EU combined in which case he may well be right but this forum isn't quite as hypocritical as you suggest.

When did Nintendo's tracking system become the gold standard for Europe, and why MUST we accept thier numbers over Microsofts again? I must have missed the validity testing that was done there...
Actually, I don't care who is correct here as my argument with this line of thinking is the reasoning, not the outcome. I mean honestly, what proof do you have that Nintendo's numbers are absolutely more accurate than Microsofts?
NOW if you have hard evidence (not circumstantial), then by all means, I'll concede the point.
