This past Monday, I picked up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Earlier on October 19, I picked up Fallout: New Vegas. I originally planned to limit myself to New Vegas and Fable 3, but after reading too many individual reviews on Metacritic and GameFAQs, I am holding off on Fable 3 until it comes down in price.
I may pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops between now and Christmas because of peer and family pressure. I swore to myself never to buy another COD game after MW2, but from what I have been reading with the changes to the killstreak system in Black Ops where the killstreaks only go up to 7 and kills from killstreak rewards don't add to your killstreak, I am warming up to it quite well.
My biggest beef with MW2 was players getting killstreaks and hiding, which TreyArch, from what I have read, has rectified. Definite buy for me now before Christmas.
