I also think these critics are being extremely picky about literally everything in this game just because the expectations were so high.  These same problems in a call of duty game (once again, I don't care, I'm not even getting the game) likely result in all 17's and 18's or higher with an overall rating of 18 or 19.

In my opinion, the in race graphics aren't zOmG!!!1121211 great it's kinda...okayish in my opinion.

What kind of TV do you have? I can assure you that I am blown away time and time again by the graphics, they are out of this world (or just Japan)

but put my opinion under perspective, graphics tend not to do it for in racing games as I focus on the tarmac rather than the scenary.
