One of the other guys in the other threads went on about how GT was bigger than Halo even in US, im not gonna bother finding out links but it was in there.
Though my comment was more of on a worldwide scale, but still 280,000 copies with 1 week to go for something thats supposedly gonna sell 10 million copies on PS3 alone is kinda pathetic. its just the same as the PS3 version of Assassins Creed Brotherhood.
Its even less than PS3 version of Medal of Honor.
Even i thought itd be better than that, Vgchartz is expecting 500-550k opening in Japan, which is a little bit more than MGS4, about a 3rd of FF13, significantly below GT4. GT4 opened to 670k it went on to sell 1.1 million, so if that 500-550k sticks then its not even hitting 1 million in Japan even less than i thought.
So with what looks to be a poor US start and an average Japan start its not looking to hit 10 million anyway, theres no saying what itll do in EMEAA yet but nah itll never hit 10 million.
