Based on past information, a typical game needs to sell somewhere between 100,000-200,000 units to be successful on the Wii (vs roughly 500,000 on PS3 and, I assume, 360). Zack and Wiki clearly cost well below average to make given 1) The lack of any advertising (no good, expensive to develop game would be so neglected), and its $40 price point. When all is said and done it should have little trouble hitting 200,000 units, which is almost centainly a profit, and justification for a sequel (which may get more promotion, and in turn end up selling even more units of Z&W1).
